Jake, originally from Beeton, Ontario, grew up spending his summers at his family cottage in Parry Sound, enjoying all the beauties of Georgian Bay. A love for sports and a keen interest in athletic therapy led Jake to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Honors specialization degree in Kinesiology from Western University. At Western, he represented the school as an athlete on the Men’s Varsity Rugby Team. Upon graduation in 2018, Jake continued his education at the Michener Institute of Education in Toronto, Ontario, where he expanded his knowledge on athletic injuries and biomechanics by obtaining his Advanced Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences with a specialization in Chiropody.

Jake has been trained to perform foot/ankle soft-tissue surgical procedures, therapeutic injections, and prescribe Custom Foot Orthotics. Jake strives to improve the quality of his patients’ lives by aiming to ensure every treatment plan is individually tailored, with a design based on a patient-centred care approach and evidence-based research.

Allen Frankel began his training at the University of Toronto, after which he attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, for four years where he received a DPM degree, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, in 1984.

Allen went on to complete a Surgical Residency program at Warminster General Hospital, near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he acquired his expertise in Laser as well as Minimal Incision Surgery (MIS). During this time, he also participated in the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Sports Medicine Clinics (where the Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers are treated). Other prestigious titles Allen has received include his Associate Member status in the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons (ABPS) and the American College of Foot Surgeons (ACFAS). Allen has been a leading candidate in the field of minimal incision surgery for correction of bunions and hammertoes, but his extensive training in various procedures also allows him to perform open procedures as needed.

Once returning to the Toronto area, Allen founded Markham Podiatry in 1985 and had actively served the needs of this community for over 30+ years. During this time, Allen continued his advanced training, and helped bring surgical procedures and treatment protocols into the forefront of foot care in Ontario.

Allen also served for many years on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Podiatric Medical Association. Allen also completed a six-year term on Council at the Provincial College, of which among other things, he chaired the Disciplines Committee and presided as President of the College in his final year.

​In his spare time, Allen is busy raising his two beautiful daughters and sailing to exotic locales around the world with his lovely wife Francine. When not on foreign soil, Allen still finds time to perfect his squash and basketball games on local courts.

Zack was born and raised in Collingwood. He completed his Bachelor of Science (Hons) at McMaster University, majoring in Biology. While representing McMaster on the varsity cross-country team, Zack sustained a running-related foot injury that introduced him to the field of podiatric medicine. Zack pursued this interest and completed his Chiropody-specific training at the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences at the University Health Network (UHN). He graduated with distinction and received the Gold Medal of Academic Excellence. After graduating in 2021, Zack was thrilled to be able to come back and practise within the beautiful South Georgian Bay region.

Quinn was born and raised in Simcoe County. He graduated with distinction from his Chiropody-specific training at the Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences apart of the University Health Network (UHN). Before becoming a Chiropodist, Quinn obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at McMaster University, where he was also a part of the Hockey and Rowing team. Quinn’s favourite things to do at work include foot/ankle Soft Tissue Procedures such as removing stubborn ingrown toenails, assessing Sports Injuries, and correcting leg/foot biomechanics through strengthening and/or Custom Foot Orthotics. Quinn has taken additional continuing education in Foot Mobilization Techniques and Human Anatomy Cadaver Surgical & Injection Techniques.
